Gifted means lucky... And you'd be hard pushed to find five people that care about Football (Socker) least of all me. Go post on some sports forum or on your blog or something.

He was a legend, on and off the field. He'll be sorely missed.

The best story I heard about him was when he was doing an interview before an international between Holland and Northern Ireland. When he was asked if he was worried about coming up against Johann Cruyff. His answer was "hell no I'm gonna nutmeg him the first chance I get."

Anyway not long after the game had begun George recieved the ball in a central area and instead of heading towards goal he went in search of Cruyff.
Three Dutch players tried to tackle him but got nowhere before he got to Cruyff whom he duly nutmegged. He then jumped in the air with his arm raised to salute the crowd who were going wild.

One of the true greats.

Legend.

I will try to remember GB as a footballing legend with unbelivable talent and grace on the football field. There are few in the world that come close.

Rest in Peace George Best, a truly great footballer.

Wasn't he the original drummer for The Beatles?

He looks like a cross between Ashton Kutcher and Jack Black...sorta...
