The Czech Republic is ranked #2 in the World and Italy always has a good team, so it will be a challenge for Team USA to advance to round 2 where we will have to go through Brazil.

1) The dark horse is going to Australia, so many of the players play here in the UK and they'll been getting a good education ... remember they beat England not so many years ago!

2) Everyone is going to say Brazil, but Mexico are always a tough team to play .... but I'm going to say England ... because I'm English!

3) Rooney without a doubt ... He isn't articulate, he has a Chav for a girlfriend and he crap at parties and he's as thick as two short planks ... but he is a machine. He scores goals by instinct and this is very rare indeed. He is strong and aggressive and amazing to watch ... it is difficult to stand in his way.

4) Germany ... they are under a lot of pressure to win, but the plain tough is they are rebuilding their team, it may just not be strong enough upfront to win the contest.

1. I think the Czech Republic will be the dark horses in the world cup, or perhaps the Ivory Coast.

2. It's hard to look beyond Brazil with regards to winning it, their attacking players are probably the best I've ever seen. That said they were trounced by Argentina in the qualifiers so you never know.

3. Top scorer will probably be Adriano, I don't see why people are touting Rooney for this as he's not a consistent scorer. He scores great goals sure but not enough of them. I'd like to see Sheva up there but he's got a poor team round him.

4. I would say Spain but then they always do so it wouldn't be a surprise. Maybe France or Germany but then the europeans generally do better in european hosted World Cups

Cricket and Rugby are Australia's sports. Although England has beaten them in both (World Cup and Ashes)...

The England/Pakistan cricket series was not so good for us though.
