I need a HTML editor for a site I'm updating. I've being using
http://www.interspire.com/devedit/ for some time now, but they have dropped their support for ASP.NET (to be honest it had issues).
So I'm looking for something new. I have found three that look quite good at the moment, FreeTextBox, FCKeditor and r.a.d.Editor. The first two have free options, the thrid is pay only.
For the moment I have settled on FCKeditor as I had trouble with FreeTextBox when you stick it in a table, they both look very good.
So really I was just wondering what experience anyone had had with these, good or bad, is the r.a.d.Editor worth the cash over the other two?
EDIT: BTW, this is being used in one of our eCommerce sites to allow people to edit product descriptions.
Cheers,
Stephen.

I've had good experiences with HTMLArea, although it appears to have been discontinued.

I second widgEditor. It's simple and effective. If you need something lightweight with good xhtml support, try it out.

The one GMail uses is great.
