I just sent this to the Sparkle team so will try to find out there plans for you. -
HI,
Sorry we do not have a date yet, but we are working on it.
I post information about Expression tools (which Interactive Designer / Sparkle is part of) on my blog at http://mano1.com/blog - keep an eye on it.
You can post any Expression / Sparkle question you have, either here or on my blog.
Best regards,
-mano (Expression / SPARKLE) -
Potential price-point?
I'm really concerned the only ui designer for xaml / avalon is going to end up costing too much money. ;( -
following mano's link above i found this:

thats some nutty stuff

Wow, what a brilliant site. Some of the stuff they are doing just with plain DOM and jscript is amazing.btw, does it for you run loads slower in FF?, IE works fine, FF runs most scripts like a snail.

alot of it is IE only anyway
(ive never found FF to be that good at dhml - the one area ie has always kicked but)
*edit - actually that was back in the Netscape days - perhaps ff is better now
Netscape wouldnt load anything dhtml -

I just tested it and found the opposite to be true.
( IE6 and FF 1.5 on 3.4GHz w/ 1GB RAM. ) -

"Nutty?" Doesn't everyone drop acid and then leaf through a book of H.R. Giger artwork? <shudder>
Oh, and if your subwoofer needs a workout, click "VML," then select "08. vedic" from the menu.
Make sure you turn your speakers wayyyy up beforehand
After listening to that sound for a minute or two, I was like, "What's that smell?" and I realized it was the power transformer in my subwoofer starting to melt.

Runs very smooth in both IE 6 and FF 1.5, allthough firefox seems to be a bit smoother when the images get resized...
My System: A64 3200+ / 2GB RAM
BTW to topic:
I hope to see an official alpha, CTP or Beta of sparkle soon!
