Hi all!
Thought id share the love with my fellow niners, here are some shots of the interior, of one of the cars my flat mate and I did.
It has a Dell Optiplex p4 2.8HT, 512 MB RAM, 120GB HD and a few extra bits an bats thrown in with a 7" touch screen LCD in the front. Its running windows XP sp2 at the moment, though im looking at other routes
It has Audi engine management software installed also that gives real time stats of whats happening under the hood. We meet a lot of fellow enthusiats regularly and we use a web cam and a windows smartphone as a modem to upload images straight onto our website
when we are out. The phone also uses CoPilot live with a TomTom wireless BT GPS unit to double as some nat nav for an extra kick.
Im trying to follow Anil Dhawan's project of a media box to be able to have music in the home running off the phone but also add a dongle to be able to place all my favourite c9 videos and tunes in my car to watch on the way to work stuck in traffic without
having to get off my butt in the morning ![]()
anyway thanks to MS for giving us all great products and making this sort of thing possible!
oh and thanks to Scoble for sending me my nine guy! (the shots were taken before it arrived)

no Wifi ![]()

nice car

The top two interior pics are kinda dark so its hard to see where the screen is mounted. Is that up front in the dash or in the back of the seats?

I like it. I'm guessing you don't have laws there that prohibit screens in the front of the car like that

Well, you can buy cars over here with massive 5-6" sat-nav screens built-in to the dash, so yes.. I guess it is legal.

Just remember to roll down your Windows XP before tossing a cigarette out... because one time I... uhh, well, yeah, remember to roll it down.
