Jo, in the past you mustve connected to the other PC using a LAN in your place. If all you are looking to do is share the net connection, why dont you use ICS on Windows XP, simply share the dial up connection to the network and you or your wifes machine
(depending where you put the modem) should be able to remotely dial up the internet when it needs remote access. The XP machine will act as a DHCP server and become a gateway for the other client. Its been a long time since I used that functionality but im
pretty sure its there. Alternatively doesnt RRAS on W2K Server have demand dial? Again its been so long since I used dial up it really at the back of my mind......just some thoughts around the TS issue tho.
