The IE7 team will be using the Channel 9 wiki to gather feedback, especially related to the RSS feed functionality in IE 7 Beta 2.
We actually put up the wiki pages late last night, but then they asked me to pull them again in case it stole the "glory" from the 9am announcement (ahhhh, marketing...). I figured that W3bbo might still spot the changes, but apparently not
I'll post again here when the feedback pages are up. -
Actually, it's not about "glory", it's about making sure it's on the download site, the correct "known issues" doc is up, etc. Coordination, in other words.
Unfortunately, some @*&%%$ person thought it would be a good idea to make "last minute" changes to one of the pages and didn't post at 9am like they should have. Aarrgghh. I can't tell you how much that annoys me...

Here are the pages, linked off InternetExplorerFeedback:
InternetExplorerFeedIssues - specific issues with the RSS feature in IE 7 Beta 2
There'll be a formal announcement about this on the IE blog within a couple of days.- InternetExplorerFeedControls - report any feeds that don't work with the custom controls
- InternetExplorerFeedDiscovery - report any feeds that aren't found by the discovery feature
- InternetExplorerFeedReading - report any feeds that aren't rendered well
In the meantime, it would be great if we could get some Channel 9 regulars to add a few more examples to the three "report problems" pages. That way we'll have a smoothly-running system by the time the IE blog drives a lot of traffic to those pages. Pretty please?

Isn't that always the way? You get a super-coordinated plan together that everyone has agreed to, and then someone decides to improve it, heh. -

Everyone please try to remember this is the "Beta 2 Preview" not Beta 2.
This Beta 2 Preview is for site owners, web developers, IT Pros, early adopters & enthusiasts.
This is not the Beta 2 intended for broader consumer / end-user release. That will be later ... -
will regular c9 members be able to download this "preview"???
