I notice that IE7 B2 Preview overwrites my IE6 directory. What'd happen if I uninstall IE7 B2 Preview? Do I get IE6 back? Or is this what you mean by "don't install on production machines?" ![]()

Hi Minh,
This is an FAQ that is addressed in the FAQ post on the team blog. http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/01/31/521344.aspx
I'd really encourage everyone to read the team blog on http://blogs.msdn/ie as it has answers to a great many of the questions we are seeing repeatedly in feedback.
Thanks

Ah, thanks, Dave. http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/ Subscribed. It seems like I will be able to get IE6 back once uninstalled. -
Yeah, I tried uninstalling it within a test VM image the other day, just to make sure there were no problems before installing it on my laptop.
It works fine. Uninstalling it just reverts back to IE 6.
