WMP. It is not just bad but it continually gets worse with each release. The WMP team needs to take a page from the developer division and actually listen to customer feedback.
A media player should be the simplest piece of software on the desktop.

.net 1.1 did and continues to do so. It seems that with each project the client wants to do something new and if you dig deep enough you can find it in the framework. It has really made me look like a super geek stud over the last year.
