Does anyone know of a free (linkback is fine just not charged) web service or similar that provides up to date currency conversion.
We have a lot of international users on our websites but only offer payment in GBP, it would be nice to allow people to see what the amount will be in their currency.
I know XE provide a paid for service (eBay for example uses them) but as it's only a 'nice to have' feature, we're not looking to shell out.
Thanks in advance.

Do a web search, there are lots of them.
But remember, you get what you pay for. If you pay for a "real" currency feed, you're pretty much guaranteed it will be up-to-the-minute accurate. -
Yeah sorry, I didn't word that the best.
"Does anyone have any experience with a free currency convertor that they could recommend?" would have been a little more succint. Cheers anyway. -
Use Google, i.e. if you want to convert $100 into £ then you search:
"$100 in £"
I'm not sure of accuracy, but I certainly use it for it's sheer convenience.

http://www.ecb.int/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml does it for me ...

I usually use www.gwk.nl, but I don't suppose that's much use if you aren't Dutch.
EDIT: They have an English version now, they didn't use to. -

Lin*x has a handy "units" command
EDIT: of course it would take some work to update it with the correct exchange rates... -
Markthe Viking's solution seems better than mine. (For the record, it was giving web access to a spider monkey and running MS Calc Plus...) heh... Mark wins!
