I have been looking at the Outlook RSS support in the upcoming Office 2007. I have also been running the second beta release of IE7 as well. One thing that really bothers me is when I read a feed in one place, it still shows it as unread in the other application.
Question: Wouldn't it be smart to point (or at least have the option) to one shared data source for my RSS feeds between both Outlook and IE (or any other product that wants to, for that matter)?
It makes sense - No matter what RSS-enabled application I happen to be using at the time, if I read a feed that is shared between them, they all show the item as read, etc. I want a seemless experience between apps (and potentially my PocketPC/SmartPhone).
Marketing Guys - Think about something like this as a 'value added' feature of using Office, IE, Sharepoint, ActiveSync, etc. together. ...Oh, the possibilities! ![]()
