Great to hear that
Finally there for everyone. Lucky me having Visual Studio and loving to write my own XHTML and custom controls for ASP.NET 2.0. -

It seems the Pasport service is down, excellent.

Try logging out and logging in again. Did work for me.
But I've another problem: When starting the installer it asks me whether I want to proceed with the installation, but doesn't do anything after I click Yes (same with No, obviously). -

I got the same setup error. I tried opening the exe in winrar and extracting the files, but it fails about 50% into extraction.
Corrupt file, maybe?

Is this the same build as connect testers?

It's not quite the same error. They are discussing 2 issues over in the newsgroups currently:
1) Setup doesn't even start (silently exists after confirming with Yes)
2) Setup ends with an error halfway through the extraction phase.
I've also tried to download it again -> same error, so most likely no file corruption during download.
Maybe these errors are related to pre-release software already installed on the system. I'm running IE 7 Beta 2 and WinFX Feb. CTP. -
Not, this is the build 1003, and the testers have the build 1004.

It is the same error. Mine dies after you hit Ok on the prompt msg box on install.
I was saying that I opened the .exe (setup) in winrar as a self extracting archive and extracted the files contained in that. It fails during extract though. -
When I try to run it, the security dialog says 'Unknown Publisher', does it do this for anyone else? I also can't get it to run. I get the EULA and it starts extracting and then crashes

I'm not able to install it, because of Office 2007 Beta 1 TR. this sucks.

and hope to have it resolved soon.
Please check back again shortly.
Surely they've learnt to test things before releasing them? It's not the first time they release a beta product and it's either the wrong version or simply doesn't work.

What's going on with this? There doesn't seem to be any way to download it...

It appears to be working now. I was able to download it last night.
I followed the directions listed below and had no problem downloading the program.
- Go to http://connect.microsoft.com/">http://connect.microsoft.com
- Register or Sign in with a Windows Live ID or Microsoft Passport account
- Click on 'Available Programs'
- Click on 'Feedback tool for Expression Web Designer CTP' (you may need to scroll down to the bottom of the list)
- Click on 'Apply'
Good luck,
JB
