According to a former Space Camp[1] instructor.
[1]Not the Space Camp, but actually some European rip-off.

Oh, and while we're at it the world will end in in December 2011 or whatever. (Darn, I forgot to mark that on my calendar, so I'm not so sure about the date!) The Mayans, you may know, predicted it.

-
That's right, the Mayans used a 16" pizza for their calendar, which compensated for the 12" used by those dudes in Europe. Much more accurate and cheese in the crust.
I've already installed a time bomb in my car's gas tank to insure I won't miss the rapture. -
Liberals of East Coast, no more problems
Now we need the predicted 9.0 earthquake or Killer Wave to hit the West Coast
And the Illegal Alien problem goes away...
Yes i am joking -
My birthday's on the 25th. It would suck to have the eastern coast of the country taken out on my birthday. It would ruin the joy of receiving a USB Flash Drive (I haven't actually gotten one yet, so I'm asking my family for a $20 one).

I've met a few people who have 9/11 birthdays, and they said it's only now getting back to being enjoyabe

We'll see on the 25th. It's sure something different.

I wonder what the website will say on the 26th, or if it won't be updated after the Zero Hour, remember Zeta Talk?
-
This prediction is false. Apple ust opened its 5th Avenue store. Do you really think Apple would Open a store when in less than 5 days it was going to be obliterated?
-
You might keep an eye on this site on the day though, it might give you a few minutes warning ... they're sea activity bouys, if the chart suddenly jumps off scale .. run. Our psychic friend who believes this is a pre-emptive strike by aliens, and that the comet will trigger eruptions in mid-atlantic means the fragment will have a greater chance of hitting a volcano between South America and Senegal .. bouy 41421 is the one to watch.
You needn't worry though, Webbo and I will be protected by Wales in the coming Tsunami (with all it's mountains)... -
If there is a Tsunami in New York that day, I will pierce my nipples and have the Windows and VS logos Tattooed on my arm

I thought you already did, except they were Windows 2000 tattoos.

HAHAHAHA Funny,

ROFL.
If this happens, look for me base jumping from my downtown skyscrapers.
Naked. (Punishment for the non-believers). -
I wont be looking for that unless you look like Kate Beckinsale, Nelly Furtado or Denise Richards

Considering that tsunamis travel at a multiple of the speed of sound before they reach shallow waters, that advance warning will be VERY short.
-
Like I said, a few minutes .. however I suspect that the originator of this claim may be slightly unhinged.
Having double checked, Tsunamis are known to travel at up to 1000 Km/h which is just short of the speed of sound (at 20 degrees C)
