It's Beta. Don't expect an official response.

I'm pretty sure it is a problem with Microsoft's Activation servers... When I first downloaded Office I activated Visio and the Office Suite but when I tried to activate OneNote a few hours later I hit this same wall.
So as I said, it doesn't seem to be a local software issue, it is remote.
PS - Great MVP response there -
I've talked with several other MVPs and Microsoft support people.
People are aware of the issue.
The unofficial answer I have as of right now is that there are unexpected problems and that they are being resovled as quickly as possible and the activation problems should be fixed by friday. -
aahhh.. so its not just me

must say, activation issues aside, Office 2007 is looking like earning a solid place on my 'To Buy' task list - its the first real interface change since what.. office 97? -
Guys am not sure abt this activation problem...But for Beta testers ,theres Volume License Key for all products..and u know wat its goin to do..No activation ofcourse..
But am very worried that Beta testers wont be shipped with the 2007Office Beta2 DVD unlike the Pre-release,for which they mailed the Media. -
