1 GB DDR Non-ECC SD-RAM @ 333 MHz
OEM Integrated Audio Device
4x DVD+/-RW burner drive

3.5" floppy drive
Can I run a full-experience Vista with those specs?

Im running Beta 2 on:
AMD 1800+ Athlon XP
Nvidia GeForce 5900 (non-ultra)
40GB 7200RPM ATA HD
768MB Cheapo "Simple Tech" Memory at 266MHz
Integrated sound
Integrated network
16X DVD ROM Drive
3.5" Floppy Drive
Old-school Epox MoBo
And it runs just fine. Perfectly usable for day-to-day tasks. I installed VS 2005, Office 2007 Beta, and American McGee's Alice (just to see if it would crap out, which not only did it not crap out but recognized it as a game, placed it in the Games program group and downloaded game-specific support info for it).
Anyone that says they have some sort of super computer running Vista and it is still slow as molasses is either:
A. Lying
B. Having driver issues or,
C. Using a very bad display adapter. Most likely integrated.
Vista runs quite well on old hardware even with Glass enabled. Just make sure you have a decent display adapter if you want to run Glass.
