it sort of makes me giggle, ok we have the browser wars between MS and the OSS community. But Mice wars between MS and Logitech is kinda funny, don't you think?

Agreed. As promised, I bought a new mouse. Not an MS one because they doesn't support having charging.
VERY happy with it. LOVE the charge indicator. Those few times where I do forget, I'm quick to pop it on. Also, a 5 minute charge is enough to keep me going for more than an hour. 10 seconds is enough for 5 minutes of use.
While I'd happily cheer for Microsoft, Logitech has more versatility in it's line of products (mice anyways). -
