My parents' cat died almost a year ago, and we have been pet-less since then. Considering how often our neighbour's new cat tries to sneak inside our house you can't really tell though.

At my own place, pets aren't technically allowed (and even if, I would never get a cat while I'm living on the fifth floor with no balcony, and I wouldn't want any other animal). -
We have a dog. A 6 Year old Shiba Inu.
She is a great dog, very alert and assertive.
She has her own 'doggie door' into the back-yard, where she usually spends most of the day times (unless it's raining, this dog hates the rain).
As you can tell from the picture, she also enjoys rides in the wheel-barrow.

I have only once ever had a pet, it was a gold fish, and it died several days after purchase. I have never really liked animals, and I cannot think of a large number of things that would be worse than caring for some animal who just messes up my living quaters. That is my opinion, the only animal I would like as a pet would be either a fully grown polar bear, a dinosaur, or possibly a tiger.

Since everyone's posting pictures, here's one of my old cat (taken before she died, obviously):

I probably posted it here before, but who cares. And no, it's not a black-and-white picture.

What is that in your profile, PaoloM? A Microsoft flag?

Well, would you prefer me not to disclose where I work now?

But we have a fishtank, which has had green water for the past few years, haven't had any success in cleaning.
And another "Thanks" to Blatz, for trying to ruin yet another thread. -
