Vista Beta 2 Public Released

As many of you know it is public now! Now do you think Nvidia or <X> will release more drivers, or more updated drivers for Vista now that the public hands have a hold of it? I hope the public pressure gets on them!

Should be a great indicator of what's really right or wrong

Lol, it probably allows you to resume, so I suppose I would use it.

I'm in freakout at manufactures not supporting Vista yet. I guess it is in Beta, but they use that as such an excuse Nforce drivers, kinda suck, so do the graphics (nvidia) suck too. They work, but the audio drives me insane in the brain!

I checked... it seems like it does.

Plus the 9600 is included in the Vista beta drivers... so everything should work I guess.

Are we sure this is a Microsoft release / site? ... When did Microsoft start using Java and signing their ActiveX controls via a data warehouse company?

And as *.ISO's can be signed (right?) there is no way to confirm that they have not been messed with.

GAAH!  I was so excited because it was going at 1mbps.

Now it keeps on saying that there was a connection error.  But at least it lets me resume!

No. Its unlikely that this a leaked release.

Microsoft said that they were planning to release a public beta in June.

Yes it is totally sanctioned Beta 2, with RC1 to follow. You can order the DVD's or d'l here:

While that looks like a totally benign link, if you scroll down it gives you options to order the DVD or download. The download manager is totally horrible because it doenst auto connect after an error, which happends about every two minutes....but can you imagine the amount of people trying to d/l this??
