What would you do if you didn't have a computer or a job for a year
Besides get another job and computer???
I think I would kill myself with the computer part of it of course.
I think i would travel.

I honestly think it would do me a lot of good to not have a computer for a year (and I'm not joking)... I am far more productive without one, except when coding of course.

My life is tightly hooked with computer and internet that without them I'd be disconnected to the world. I only have oppotunity to "talk" with my old friends over the net. We're too busy that we actually meet twice a year each other.

I recently re-located to a new job nearer to my wife's family. For three months I stayed with my in-laws while we sold our old house and looked for a new one. They didn't have a PC and mine was in storage.
I got a lot done in the evenings! I even stopped watching TV. Now I've got all my stuff back again I've slipped into my old, sedentary ways.
Taking a break was good. I'm going to try it again soon. Promise. I don't need it. I can give it up any time I like ...
