Jesse Adam Macbeth (born Jesse Adam Al-Zaid,[1] 1984) is a self-professed Army Ranger and veteran of the Iraq War who falsely alleged in alternative media interviews that he and his unit routinely committed war crimes in Iraq.[2][3] Macbeth began to attract significant attention after the release of a video containing his allegations;[4] transcripts of the video were made in English and Arabic.[5] According to the U.S. Army, there is no record of Macbeth being a Ranger,[6][7] or serving in a combat unit: he was discharged from the service after having been declared unfit or unsuitable for the Army, or both,[8] before he could complete basic training.[9]
After his release from the Army in 2004, Macbeth purported himself to be a veteran, telling war stories and garnering attention from mainstream,[10] alternative[11] and student media outlets.[12][13][14][15] He joined Iraq Veterans Against the War in January of 2006,[16] and represented, or was scheduled to represent them publicly at various events throughout the country;[17][18][19] the organization has since said it does not endorse Macbeth or his accounts of military service.[16] Accounts in Macbeth's name appear on Military.com and Myspace.com, and both were used to post claims about military service in Iraq.[20][21]

What was done to two of our servicemen is the true war crime.

Any one can write what ever they want in wikipedia.
The US military, Like the IDF, has an entire department, called the deparment of misinformation. Where they feed the media lies to coverup operations of war crimes.
So I think he speaks the truth, Looking at abu ghraib scandal, and other evidence it is more accurate than not.
Secondly, I have not "picked the wrong example" I have simply given a link to the video. Learn to read before you write.
Thirdly, The dogs will keep on barking, but the truth convoy will keep on marching

Wow, amazing. You post a video of a thoroughly discredited allegation and when you're told of its lack of legitimacy you completely disregard any notion that what you posted is a farce.
Are you an automaton?

You know , there was an old saying that says this " Repetition will make even the donkey learn".
So I am going to repeat it. Learn to read before you write. I did not "Post" a video. I simply "linked" to it.
Second its not the only thing out there... Check this one out
Iraq us army bush Us troops marines us invasion Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre
Or this one
Former US Marine Rob Serra spoke in CT in 2004. He had taken part in the invasion of Iraq the year before and he tells what first turned him against the war.
I bet that nothing will change your mind, because you see some satification in these crimes against humanity done in the name of good american people.

Hmm, H4LOPR1CK and pacelvi remind me of the typical person from the Insurgency Mod forums (http://forums.insurgencymod.net).
They just deny everything that isn't pro-war

uh huh... please cite anything that is true that i've denied -
I never said anything was or was not true; I'm staying out of it. It was just an observation.

And i'm asking you to state what it is that you observed specifically. -

Heh, so in other words your assertion is not substantiated by facts. Oddly enough, that's entirely consistant with this thread's creation.
1 - Make a specific allegation of wrong-doing against a country or a person (be it war crime, or denying reality)
2 - Have the offered evidence be shown to be false (the laughable McBeth video, which made the rounds about a month ago, so i'm sort of surprised it showed up so long after being exposed as false) or non-existant (as with Pon)
3 - The person making the allegation just continues on with his allegation as if 2 never happened.
-
Wikipedia, nice evidence... Did you write that yourself?
-
I was referring to several other posts/threads in which both of you have posted. If you want specific "evidence", then it was in (iirc) that Iran is a nuclear country thread. You can search for them yourself because I am not trying to prove anything.

Just to toss a 3rd party in here
The fables of Jesse/Jessie MacBeth
I'm sure some people here will dismiss the story as the source is right leaning, but open your mind.

Why don't you link us to a main stream media outlet that is carrying the story and proves that Jesse MacBeth is telling the truth then? That seems to be your required level of proof so I'm interested to see if you can provide it.
BTW, even the Iraqi War Veterans Against the War group has denounced Jesse MacBeth. Oh noes! They're part of the conspiracy!! RAWR RAWR RAWR! LAWL!

Look buddy, I don't care what you think of me or my convictions.
I certainly do not make any arbitrary decisions about anything in my life.
Am I pro-war? In the instance of Iraq, yes.
So because we disagree you feel compelled to speak pejoratively about me; after I made it fairly evident I didn't want to get involved in this ridiculous discussion for exactly that reason.
I made the mistake of debating politics / foreign policies earlier on C9 and I realized that it was my mistake. You don't know anything about me, and it is foolish to imply that you do. So stop.
This is a community to interact positively; mainly regarding technicalities, and the people that frequent this forum are superior resources and from what I have gathered mostly really nice people.
I don't see any personal value for myself gained from debating politics or policies in this context on C9, time is valuable and I would rather discuss these issues with my R/T friends and family, as even when I disagree with my R/T friends and family, it is done in a courteous fashion.
I would rather focus on interacting with the C9 community on things that are better suited to the premise of C9.
So please stop the vitreous flame baiting, thnx.
If you feel compelled to argue and debate and put people down that don't agree with you, great and have fun with that, just leave me out if it from now on.
/found out grandfather is dying last nigh, didn't get much sleep, forgive the run-on sentences.
