Skype just released its Pocket PC version of their wickedly cool P2P VOIP software. If you have a Pocket PC with WiFi it is worth checking out ... Smells like the future

Unfortunately it requires a 400 Mhz processor. I'm still using my iPaq 3870, so I can't get Skype to work.
I'm a bit suprised to see MS in favor of Skype. lol. Will MS ever release Microsoft Portrait? -

Knowing where to look is 99% of the answer!
Anything that uses SIP is the best, I currently use SJLABS on my Pocket PC and have it ported into an actual PSTN line. So i'm reachable via dialing through any regular phone instead of a SIP number, ....and the best part..its all free.
