This Web2.0 stuff is phuneh

They're purdeh though; I like the fedex one.

Wow some of these are impressive, especially since I am not very handy with graphics. I really liked the Visa and the Nike one
.

I like them. I'm not a fan of the FedEx one though. I think the 'd' going into the 'E' is a bit intrusive and not friendly on the eye, and the blue arrow in the 'Ex' really ruins the 'E'.

The arrow's been in there since the beginning.

nonetheless, the BLUE arrow really ruins the E.

...i think they forgot one....

I love that Microsoft one. As for the FedEx logo, there is no arrow in it, it just so happens that with the 'E' beside the 'x' there just happens to be negative space that is in the shape of an arrow. That "2.0" version of the logo is just a big blue ugly thing plopped on top

-
I think the arrow in the original logo was intentionally, but it's very subtle. The 2.0 version is just ugly, with the attention drawn to the arrow. Part of the reason it's ugly is because it cuts a piece out of the x. The balance of the original logo is lost.

I guess the uglyness of some is part of the web 2.0 joke ?

Yeah, you're probably right. BTW: welcome to C9, ewschone. What does ewschone stand for? I recognize the Dutch word 'schoon', but I don't know what to make of it.

I have been using that as a username ever since I got my first dialup. Actually I think it was assigned to me by my 1st isp (14k4
). My initials are EW and my last name is Schoneveld. And yes that's a dutch name
.
BTW I just discovered channel9 a few days ago, all the videos have been a bit overwhelming, though it got me excited for .NET.
