thats what I see --- they used to have it hosted from the edu where it was first written.... now it's got a domain.

at one time there was a story about this being the replacemnt on vista for paint.

don't know if that was just an idea or....

According to the FAQ on their forum (http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=489), there are no plans for this to replace paint. I have been using this for months and love it... Working on writing a little effect plugin right now...

There was a moment where the Paint.NET source was only available by request, but it is back up on their site now.
