Hey, where does he say he's guilty and has she actually confirmed if this is true....don't always believe what you read.

This puts that famous Beatles song "I Hit My Wife!" in a whole new light.

Think of what? ... Spousal abuse is barely something that's just sprung up over night. It happens in every country around the world... I'm not justify it, just saying that it doesn't exact raise my eyebrows.

Why would I throw away good music? I'll happily still listen to Michael Jackson's stuff and still would have even if he had been convicted... Unlike some I listen to music because I enjoy it, not because Radio 1 told me it was the "in thing" right now...

Not what I was expecting, I was thinking it was some new rant on Paul Thurrott.

Bored already if the truth be told.

In the UK many have become epathetic about celebrity issues and we have become jaded and non-believing about what we read in the press. This one of the major reasons why newspapers sales are shrinking.

The most telling thing is that the BBC website gets 60 million hits per month! It would seem this is the place where us Brits get our news from now. If you have seen the site, it's mainly news. It has an Entertainment section and thats where the celebs sit.

Yep we do have large readerships for celebrity mags, but the main reason why girls buy them is actually fashion. The funny thing was that a celeb mag that launched last year without fashion went to the wall within six months.

She doesn't have a leg to stand on in this....

Far too many people are eager and willing to believe the worst about someone, especially if that someone is famous.

And once such accusations are made, there will be some percentage of people who will forever believe it to be true.

On what do you base that opinion? We are a nation totally obsessed with celebrity. Look at the sudden plethora of new "free" sheets - even "The London Paper" which claimed to be the more serious paper realised it was losing out to "Lite" and so upped the "celebrity" content.

But the BBC are amongst the worst offenders. Their main news feed gives us endless updates about Madonna's adoption. The main news features the fact that David Bowie is doing a tour as a "news" item. I would argue that they are evidence of the obsession with celebrity over news and madness like "Big Brother" taking over the front page of the tabloids day after day after day because the newspapers have learnt very quickly that it's celebrity gossip and not "Korea has nuclear test" that sells papers and makes the most profit.

As for the McCartney story - who knows what the truth is? And who cares? The accusations are all reported to have come from "leaked" documents meant to be heard privately in a court case. On one hand you have a woman with a history of gold-digging, on the other a guy who has made so much money and is surrounded by so many brown-nosers he can't be expected to act "normally".
