Ugh 20 minute install, and two reboots.

Oh for flips sake, it still hasn't fixed the beta problem of shortcut icons for shortcuts in the form of
file:///C:/Program%20Files/Firaxis%20Games/Sid%20Meier's%20Civilization%204/Readme.htm
or
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise Of Legends\Register.url"
Not getting icons.

IE7 breaks some XSL based on the presence of certain words in the XML, and I am wondering how many ex-employers are going to be on the phone tomorrow asking for help.

Okay, so, rewind- IE7's gone final and will be a standard Windows Update at some point today? Also, not to threadjack, but why isn't Windows Update working in Vista?

Windows Update in Vista is not a web application anymore. You access it from the start menu -> Windows Update (finally) -
Steven Bink's website www.bink.nu has a tip how to extract the IE7-Setup.exe file from the bundle

I thought you worked for yourself, ergo, you work at home. So you're going to stay in bed all day? (I quite fancy that myself, actually)
