I think this is probably because spyware authors don't bother targetting a market that is so small. Which is why I don't bother pushing OSX, I am quite happy for it to be a small user base so we don't have to worry about being targetted. I care neither one way or another whether someone else uses a PC or not ... as long as I have my mac
Mac users are encouraged to run as Limited accounts, too, since changing users on the fly on a per-app basis is so much simpler, so that helps a lot.
