Hi,
While there are people here with web design skills and knowledge of firefox I take my shot here to ask a question.
Is there any difference in rendering between firefox 2.0 and 1.5? Or is there a set of Firefox browsers where you usaly test the layout in? (Like with IE I test the page in IE7, IE6, and IE5.5)
I currently got my page working in IE7, IE6 and Firefox 2.0, but don't know which version of firefox might differ from the rest.

I don't think that there is a drastic difference in the 1.5 and 2.0 rendering engines. I have 1.5 on a backup machine, and 2.0 as my main browser, and I have not seen any pages that differ in these two browsers.
Only once have I seen a site break in 1.0.7 which was fine in 1.5 ...
Hope this helps ...

Thanks, I thought there was some big difference between 2.0 engine and the previous versions. Also tested it on latest version of the Opera browser so I am pretty sure it is okey now

I haven't created any new websites since firefox 2.0 and it's betas are around, but I can say that all pages i've seen and created, which work with 1.5, also work with 2.0. So the rendering engine should basically be the same.

There were some incremental improvements, but most web developers won't be affected by them. There is a list of changes at the Mozilla Developer Center.
