ok ok - it's sensational-istic
but why not?
ms has been through many "meaning-less" presidents
why not one with the people's voice/choice at his command?
no? yes?
i vote: yes

I don't want Steve's job. His isn't as fun as mine.
I appreciate the sentiment, though. It isn't the first external promotion I've gotten this week. B2B Online said I was Microsoft's chief evangelist. That's funny and news to my boss (Lenn Pryor), his boss (Vic Gundotra), and his boss (Sanjay Parthasarathy). They are all evangelists here.
Anyway, if I do get the job, I'll hire you all as my advisors and give you an office by Bill.

Scoble as president? Hahahah!!
That would be like having Arnold Schwartzenegger as governor.... oh, wait.... nevermind. -

haha
* robert - you should make this your local search page ( defaults to msn search) ...or should i make it go to google haha
-
ahh. but steve would still have his job.. ( CEO )
* and a great one at that
it's that weird - "president" title at ms..
NO-one has ever been able to fill it
Everything staying and working exactly like it is - but the WORD "president" floating over to land on "evangelist".
