It's on the right on the school computers here, and I have it on the right in VC#... I've just never taken the initiative to move it in C++ (because the side it's on doesn't make a difference to me.
Now, it would be a different story if I ever did Winforms development in VC++... having everything reversed would mess with my head. -

I keep mine docked on the right, but a friend of mine keeps his docked on the left. I asked him why once, and he said that he finds it more comfortable to have the brunt of the code he's working on in the middle of the screen, instead of on the left-hand side. -
It's interesting, I don't use the left dock, all my tabs (Solution explorer,Props, Class view, toolbox etc) are docked to the right.
Does anyone else do this? -
I dock the solution exporer and class view on the left because those are the things i use the most often and i find i have to move the mouse less distance to get to them than if they are docked on the right.

Mine looks like the default "General development" settings, so posting a screenshot would not be much use. I only change the font to Consolas and some of the spacing options for the C# text editor (I prefer "if( x )" instead of "if (x)", and the latter is the default setting), but everything else is default.

Mine is simply the standard Micorosft Visual Studio C# Express Edition, so I won't post it. When I get my new computer (in about 6 - 8 months I will have 3 monitors and I will use them for a better setup). I'm not sure whether I will have to take a computer qualification in the next few years, if I do, I will probably invest in a full version of Visual Studio, in which case the setup would be much better.
