Well, I've just taken a look and the difference seems to be that it is more oriented to asking technical questions; kind of like our Techoff forum, but split by topic.
It doesn't have a Coffeehouse, so it can't be worth hanging out there.
I guess they're buying the membership as much as the site. It would be easy to modify C9 to do what aggret8 does, but you wouldn't get new members as quickly.
Or maybe there's some grand plan that we don't know about. :O

I have been playing around in the site but it is real hard to get anything. For this to be a MS site it is very disappointing. I have seen teenagers make a better site. I was hoping it would be a spin off of channel 9 for the professionals like me that is looking at the management side more then the developers side.
