Dearest Niners,
We are rapidly approaching our 1000th video and we would love for you to share with us, using
Clipster, what your favorite scenes are of all time! We will then create a collage of these clips as the way we celebrate this momentous occasion. We have some of our own favorites too, but, as always, what matters
most to you (what made you laugh, cry, jump up and down, scratch your head, jump for joy, etc) is what we really want to celebrate.
Please name your Clips so we can easily spot them. So, prefix their titles with "C9-1000:".
Let's make something really cool together. We need to get your clips by November 29th so please start your clipping engines! Thank you!!!
Keep on Clipping!

I dont know if i can change the name of my clip.
But my favorite, is Rory speaking tha truth -
That's great. Linking to your clips on this thread is also a great way to let us know what your fav clips are
Thanks, Chad!

All-time favorite (to date): Rory's Sadistic Laugh
Additionally, you'll notice that even though Rory prefers to "Knuckle", he doesn't hesitate to shake the hand of Charles - that speaks magnitudes of who Charles is

One of my favorites, so far.. is right at the very end of Jamie's video where the C9 guy's head is twirling around in the toilet being flushed. LOL..

Why bother clipping or taking a survey? You already know which ones are the bomb: Bill Hill and/or Rory

I'll third that. Bill Hill is amazing... I can't imagine what it would be like to work with him. -
Yet another funny video clip. This one is done by Mike Hall. He and a couple co-workers explain Networked enabled refridgeration device, and at the end, does a "HAL" bit. Funny!

I think the best use of Clips is to allow viewers to make more concise versions of a video. Sometimes, you just don't got 45 mins to spend on a video. Clipping can be a wiki for vids.
Unfortunately, I think that'd mean non-real-time, multiple time segment capabilities. Perhaps an offline version of the Clipper. -

Its called moviemaker. C9 Team can create a web service to post our editions to the clipbox.
Uhm, now that I think of it, thats a waste of space. I don't know how the clipster works behind the scenes, but..
If it takes a link/file/ref to video, collection start stop index values, then maybe someone could come up with some kind of offline client that will with the users' tinkering around with partials (various start stop points) once the person is happy with their clippoints, upload the index values to C9 along with a ref to the video in question, and voila.. Again, I don't know much about how clipster works, or how the video player works.. Am I totally looney thinking this or is this actually a good idea? See, if thats how it works, then duplication of videos are not happening, just start/stop points/indexes. -
After looking at the source to the video player page, and .js attached to it, thats pretty much how it is as I see it.. Interesting. Soo.. this.. ..
Ahh, (been reading up on the "Thoughts on Clipster post" seems this has been suggested already somewhat.
*shuts up* -
I can't get Clipster to work at work, so I'll just say my favourite moment so far is the "So... Who are you?" question being directed at Bill Gates.
