Well, I have never seen so much marketing for a game. It is everywhere.

True. It's actually really boring game and way too overhyped if you ask me.
I'm actually pretty sure your Mario version is much more fun

I believe it.
I played this at a friends house. There were like two 360's and five Wii's there. Twilight Princess looked very cool with Xbox 1 type graphics but Gears of War on the 360 had the best graphics I've ever seen in game; the sounds, atmosphere, and physics were realistic as well.
GOW is absolutely bad @$$ in every sense of the word.

Ok, it looks ok. But don't you think it's really linear and boring?
GOW uses Unreal 3 engine which is nice (all games which uses it looks really awesome), but I think that isn't enough...

I prefer Call of Duty 3, personally, for the genre, vs. GOW.
GOW is much better for local multi-player than COD3.
Call of Duty 3's story-line only works for one player; not good at all!
EDIT: I have a friend who brings his Xbox360 over all the time; now I'm wanting to own one... -
GOW ... damn..its the best yet.
I am going through it the 2nd time around with change in difficulty.
Need to check out the XBOX live part next.
