I have deer living on my property, in the morning when I go out to get the paper they look at me as if it's their properety..
A few weeks ago I looked out back and two males with antlers were rutting. -
love the antlers. Jamie can you do a version of the 9 guy with antlers like that for our masthead?
Pretty please.

It's the whole global warming thing.
On another note, it never snows here in Australia. And it's summer now, so the weather's been hovering between 21 and 32 degrees celcius (69.8F to 89.6F). It's only going to get hotter here on in as Christmas approaches.
Here's a photo I took yesterday at Point Nepean in Victoria, Australia (used an old point and shoot - a Nikon Coolpix 4500 for this).

I'm North of you (I think) in Minneapolis and we're dry as a bone hovering in at 30-40 F. -
It's the usual BBQ weather down here.

Had to scrape the ice off my car this morning and spend 10mins waiting for the windows to demist

Last year we had tons of snow over here... Now we don't. Could it be normal that there are years with more and years with less snow?
I agree that it got wormer over the last 20 years... -
In Leeds, UK we often get a small layer of snow, although it usually melts very quickly, and is practically not worth being there. I can remember quite a while ago when there was a lot of snow, easily enough to go sledging, or to have snowball fights; but that is the most I have seen in Leeds.
I am told it snowed a fair amount a while ago in Leeds, but I was on holiday (skiing
) so when everyone said to me: "there was about 20 centimetres of snow here", I just said "there was about 1 metre and 45 centimetres where I was".
At the moment, the weather isn't bad. It is nice and cold, and a bit foggy; I expect strong winds, and possibly rain. There might be snow around Christmas time, but it will probably be very light, if it exists at all.

Tomorrow we're setting off to the lowveld to a game ranch for three days. Temp should be between 100 and 110 F during the day and in the mid ninties during the evening. They've got some tame animals wandering around the guest area, a cheetah, for one. Will take some pictures and post them here to show you what mid-december in South Africa is like.

No snow either here. It should be at least -15C and lots of snow at the moment but it's +10C.
Really sad. The Sun is above the horizon only about 3 hours at the day so it's really dark all the time without snow also.
It's going to be "black Christmas" here

apparently this is a record for warmth in toronto. ..its jan 5th no snow - with none in site for another week or more
the news shows in canada are all like: "golf courses cant keep up - but the ski slopes are hurting.."
