When will Vista Business Edition be posted on AA ?
According to a Microsoft employee, the due date were set to December 1th, buth nothing found on MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center yet..

Do you have access to other editions now?

E-Academy (who run the ELMS system) have packaged Windows Vista but can't currently provide keys through the ELMS interface. It is therefore possible, if unlikely, that some Program Administrators may choose to make it available and then deal with all the key distribution and reporting manually using keys from the central MSDN route.

Sometime (hopefully in the next month) the key issue will be rectified and PA's will be able to deploy Vista Business in much the same way they distribute other applications, if they so wish.

Ultimately the final say on availabilty is up to the individual Program Administrator and so you are best contacting them if you're just looking to know when it is likely to be available to your specific department.

I have already been in contact with the PA at my uni.
She had no information about when or if Vista would be available.

I only got the email this morning, so it's not that surprising. Prior to that details have been sketchy at best.

So yes I have, but there are a lot of cs students and professors that have not. 

I have an operating systems design course starting January 15th and it would be interesting to discuss the new Vista (kernel, IO, memory, PowerShell ) features along with it.

My university is a member of MSDN Academic Alliance but the department in charge has forgotten the password to login.  Is there a way I could still login to get the benefits of MSDN Academic Alliance?
