If you write web applications using ASP.NET and SQL Server and use shared hosting, you know that sometimes it is a pain to get your database up to your provider. The SQL Server team has released a new product, the Database Publishing Wizard, that aims to solve
the problem.
The Database Publishing Wizard generates a T-SQL script that can be used to recreate the schema and data for a SQL Server database. If your hosting provider supports it, the wizard can connect to a web service to enable direct uploading of the database. And,
the tool is available within Visual Web Developer 2005 and Visual Studio 2005.
