I understand the author's concern. Not less because I'm also hopelessly dependent on google's services. In this world, it's amazing how much ONE entity can access and control so many things. I, of course do not condone (not that I can do anything at all)
anti-competitive activities. As such you can clearly see whose side I'm on so far
.
HOWEVER, to see a link to the article above in a Microsoft-centric site is ironic and brings back all the memories. After all, it's not a while ago that Microsoft is the one who are being investigated for anti-competitive activities, something that they do
not admit but continues to do it till this days.
To point the finger at another party means having 3 fingers pointed back at yourself, to quote a famous chinese saying. Meaning that it's pointless (though not entirely rubbish) to point out the wrong doings of others without being entirely cleared.
I'm sorry for not being popular, but I just have to let this out of my head.
