Oh, come off it, what kind of nonsense is that? But MS doesn't pay me so I guess I'm an 1d10t that doesn't understand I'm doing free promotion etc etc.
An opposing point of view for me is anyone saying that MS is better, or Linux is better, or MacOS is better. That opposes my view.
As I have said before, I love technology and love makes blind, not to mention an inability to choose any particular OS. Yes, I know, it weak but I'm an addict.

I've got my misgivings with Microsoft. Darryl Taft on DNR called just about every competitor complaining about MS sourgrapes. That's a load of willies. There are competitors out there with valid complaints about MS business practices. Some others are indeed sore losers.

About stiffling, if you want a really tough crowd, try slashdot.

Firstly, I don't care if he stays or leaves, but I'm not asking him to leave.

Secondly, his most recent thread before this one was definitely trolling.

Like I said, there are pro-linux 9ers who are not trolls - they help balance the points of view here. There are also, to be fair, some pro-Microsoft 9ers who act like trolls too.

Finally, if someone is vehemently anti-Microsoft, why would they even spend time on a MS-oriented site if not to troll? I think there's a difference between being pro-Linux and being anti-Microsoft.  Corona falls in the latter camp, as far as I can see.

This is total crap.

There is nothing wrong with an opposing point of view (I'd like to point out that corona_coder is actually one of the few posters that is not willing to accept an opposing point of view).

What there is a problem with, is his downright blatent lies.  His last post proved that.  Also, the fact that he makes off the wall claims, that he has no factual evidence to back up.  When his claims are proved wrong with factual evidence, he hides.

We're not supposed to have a politically correct spread of opinions, where you HAVE to have at leat 0.33% of Linux supporters or... else.

If he wants to stay, fine. Nobody is deleting his posts (unlike other, apparently more "free", sites) and if he dishes out troll posts he should be able to take the responses back like a man.

No, *I* (I can only speak for myself, as always) leap on thread where there are lies and FUD that I can try to fix. Of course I don't know everything, and there are lies that go unchallenged because.. well, I don't know that they're lies in the first place.

But you're welcome to post here as Another_Darren and expose Another_Darren's views and opinions. I want you to stay, but I don't want to have you as "Required Token Mac Zealot #52" just because it makes the place happy and fluffy.

 The mods here can reverse lookup ips. If these posters including myself were one person, the person running the community server software would have seen that in the admin and banned everyone. If these posters were posting from a proxy server, that would also be evident with a rlookup and they could then determine that the posts are not legit.

That conclusion requires some thought though, so I don't blame the posters for ignoring it.

Why would they ban everyone? Is there some clause you agreed to that explicitely prohibits multiple usernames?

I mean, it's stupid, but there nothing to stop you doing that.
