You'd think there would be more bad blood after this keynote:

I think these guys realise something a lot of fanboys/zealots/whatever derogatory term you want to use do not: they're just businesses.

And most Apple users don't know that about Apple. Somewhere deep inside, most apple users think that Apple cares about each and every one of them. Am I right? -
As mentioned before I don't really think they would have anything against each other, certainly not enough to stop them talking to each other.

They are simply businesses, and neither is about to destroy the other. They both compete in the same market but appeal to different people (well this is my experience).

It's ironic, because life is great in Mac-land with Microsoft applications.

I still think Powerpoint 2004 has fresher templates than Powerpoint 2007, and it also allows for printing to PDF and something Powerpoint for Windows still won't do natively: export to video.

That's why we have a relatively warm winter here. I was wondering where the cold had gone. -

Aye, even when you just count Apple:
- Rebuilds OS from scratch
- Introduces two-buttoned mouse
- Switches to Intel
- Supports Windows-on-Mac hardware

Our office has two Mac extremists, I mean very scary...
The other three Mac guys are a good laugh, whenever someone is having an issue, PC or Mac, the other perks up with "it's because its a Mac/PC"
The other two guys tho, you really wouldn't put it past them that attempting to correct their ignorance or say a bad word about their OS, and they would end up them burying you in the woods that evening.
Scary world... -
Jobs and Gates on the same stage, as if this wouldn't end up in a barrage of disses from Jobs to Gates, while Gates will be standing there awkwardly because he can't come up with replies because he didn't anticipate this.

Without taking sides in the whole OS thing, one thing this will unfortunately do is show how bad Gates really is when presenting. He may be extremely bright but it doesn't mean that he can get that across all the time and his predictions tend to be a ways off (*cough*spot*cough*).
