Uh, it's easier to copy than be the original creator.
Just because someone can copy the UX that a team of designers spent a few weeks (or months) tearing their hair out on doesn't mean that it was "easy."

Come on - don't be silly. Do you think all Apple had to do was throw a 'theme' at an existing system? More likely that the majority of the time was spent on the phone and the multi-touch.

I actually don't. I was 0 - 7 years in the 80s. OK. I remember something, but a lot of the 80s is forgotten, but I know the song.
