Hi I have a WD MyBook and would like to boot a Vista install dvd from it.

Basically I have partitioned 20gb free space on my internal drive, and plan to dual boot XP + Vista. I downloaded the ISO from MSDN but dont have a DVD burner, so I extracted all the files from the ISO to the route of the External drive.

When I boot I select boot from external USB Device, it waits a few secs then boots right into XP like normal. How can I make it boot into the vista install? Do I need to create a boot file or something?

Any help would be appreciated!
