PIE - Podcasts from Internet Explorer

[Warning - this is a self promotion zone!]

I have just released the first version of Pie.
Pie (Podcasts from Internet Explorer) gets the podcasts downloaded by Internet Explorer 7's feed engine and displays them in a handy list.
Download it now


Clicking an show will start it playing. You can create a playlist of all podcasts, or just the new ones.
Pie can also be loaded inside Windows Media Player as a plug-in:

I basically wrote this thing in under a day so it's bound to need more work. My blog is http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/andrewdavey/ where I tend to write about my developments. Please download and try it out. All feedback is appreciated.

By the way, the main body of the UI is HTML generated by running an XSLT over XML of the items.
So there's going to be away for people to choose what output they see. Are there any web monkeys out there who fancy knocking together a nicer looking layout?

Any suggestions for a different name?

It seems like everything is taken these days. No wonder we get stuff like "microsoft something professional 2009 marketing bloatware edition"

D'oh, I thought this was about Pocket IE when I first saw the word "PIE", which is the commonly referred to name of Pocket IE.

Going with the "kick" theme, I like "PodKicker". However there appears to be a website under construction at www.podkicker.net
"PodKick" already seems to exist as well.

"podIEum" is cute - but people would always google for the correct spelling "Podium". Although I quite like that name too.

Damn, naming stuff is hard!

Maybe I need a short, cute, nonsense name - it is only a tiny applet after all.

The .com domain is available.
It's easy to spell.
I get to use a big red flower as a logo.
