Hey my friends. So after a horrid morning of not being able to get on a server, i finally managed to get tickets to glastonbury 2007.
Thi is quite possibly the best british festival that goes on during the summer months. How many other niners are going to this musical madness?
The thing with glastonbury it' pretty friking awesome whether it rains or shines. the floods of 2005 didn't dampen the spirit, so much fun jumping in mud and seeing naked people swimming in mud pools.
glasto geek meet?

No...
- Music sounds better when in front of calibrated speakers, not oversized amps at a festival
- I value my mud-free status
- I also value not getting tinnitus
- Stuff

Glasto Rocks!!!
Sadly, I wasn't as lucky.
The new system for tickets allocation sucks as it is yet again just a mad cyber-scrum the added complexity of the extra stage before just makes the process suck more.
I love festivals because
Music always sounds better when thousands of people are singing to, sod the sound system
Always have a great time
Meet loads of new people
Its just great fun
... yep but I hate camping, I've done it so much now that the magic has just gone now.

I forgot to upload my mugshot so had no chance in glastonbury this year, I must be better organised next year. I did get Reading tickets tho (pre sales last september).
It's not all about the music at a festival, anyway you will always discover something new.
I always aim to go with a selection of random people and friends. The guy i've gone with the last 3 times I met thru my friend at the festival. And nothing beats feeling like crap every morning and eating 2 day old defrosted bbq food at night
I even live in reading but refuse to use my house for those creature comforts. -
Actually, I've been looking for a good festival to go to this summer. Leeds/Reading seemed bland and uninteresting this year.
Who's playing?
Let's check the site...
Damn! Sold out! -
after gettin bored with the download festivals, i decided on a change....
im going to v festival this year (it was hard to get a ticket) -
The wife and I are decided that we are going to check out the smaller festivals this year and try out some new stuff after not getting Glasto tickets.
So I will be reporting back here on my travels. -
I actually really wanted to go to Glastonbury this year, but all my mates wanted to go to Reading. I have no idea why, as the line up for Glastonbury is likely to have all the bands etc from Reading, and then some...
but alas I am having to go to Reading instead. Only really excited about The Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem, CCS and The Gossip. All the others can do one, until they announce the Dance tent line up, which is more my thing. Hopefully Soulwax play again this year!

I dragged my friends along to see LCD Sound System in the John Peel tent at glasto 2005, not really sure whether my friends would like them or not. Man they kicked some (I need to watch my language) and my friends became fans instantly.I'm hoping for CCS to be playing this year along with Daft Punk.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Chilis (they were awesome last year on tour), Ash (no Charlotte tho
), Brand New, The Subways (has a Charlotte tho
)and pretty much everyone on the Sunday....The Pumpkins
<Rant>
I still don't get how bands like Razorlight and the Arctic Monkeys (totally overrated IMO) can be so high up the lineup. The monkeys were 2nd headliners on the main stage last year at reading! And Razorlight do not compare to the likes of the Chilis and Pumpkins this year.
Headliners should be bands who have slogged it out for years and deserve headlining status.
Dam people who listen to whatever the radio tells them to!
