Hi all,
I think we, at Xpanity, are the first to implement WPF/WCF technology in an IE sidebar.
The sidebar allows
An online chat for every webpage with other Xpanity's users. (b) A shared board to comment every webpage.
I would very much like to hear what you think.

Hi Guy,
I have tried this product just for a few days and it is totally awsom.
It is a major upgrade both to messenger and IE.
Browsing will never be the same.
Well done,
Igal -

Talking to yourself is awesome.

Hi Ion,
First, I would very much appreciate more detailed feedback (so we can really learn from it).
We are in the process of building more UIs that people can choose from (this is one of XAML advantages).

Hi Igal,Thank you for your kind words (it quite embarrassed me – I admit :O), but we did not want to upgrade the messenger.
Our vision is to give the browsers the power (we think) they so miss – the ability to communicate with people (they don't know -unlike any IM software ) viewing the same web page (share the same interests).
Just imagine the power you as a browser have when you can comment on a store you just bought from and had a superb/terrible experience, chat online with your favorite blogger etc.
You can find more benefits or ideas where the software might be usefull to you on our benefits page.
I admit, we also wanted it to look and act cool, that is why we decided to use WPF/WCF.
The reason I've decided to post this post here is because I thought that WinFX lovers would love to see an implementation of that in IE sidebar (as far as I know - never done before).
Currently, it's only the first version; we plan to add new cool features on a monthly basis.
Of course, our top priority effort goes to build client for the fire fox
(not in WPF though).

Hi Bas,
This is actually the very begining of Xpanity. therefore there are not so many users.
In few weeks we start marketing it and hope that you will not be talking to yourself when you browse.
anyway, I thought that the early adopters of our product will be people like you (or other visitors of this forum).

Very nice, Guy!
I've added it to the WPF application portfolio wiki, here:

Hi Guy
Very nice idea. I realy hope you will get lots of people so it will be more fun. May be you can implement some kind of index so there will be a list of pages where we can find users.
In terms of the UI. I realy liked it. Its very clean and profesinal. Some WPF application just try to include all the power of WPF in their application and they forget its also has to be practical. I also realy like the flower control to select color.
well done job. -

Hi umic
Thank you for installing our software.
You will find an index tomorrow on our website (I'll post the link here when it's ready).
I think you have a point about the design - a rich design consume a lot of resources from the client system.
In XAML, just like HTML, you can get the same results in many different ways and you always have a trade of between richer design (i.e. 3D) and memory consumption.
Anyway, your suggestions and comments are highly appreciated and spoke about in our team.Regards,
