Has anybody here tried making their own Firefox extensions or add-ons? With all the recent drama surrounding Silverlight, I had some ideas I might try at a later date to see how far I could push 3-D functionality in a web browser (or not).

I havn't tried, but I'd just like to say I'd like to know as well.
Have a few ideas, but not quite sure how to go about it -
