Incontestably true, but Bill is exceptional and an exception (as was Michael). Also, the money didn't start rolling in till he had an army of developers.

I guess the true threshold of ownership will always end up with a bunch of solicitors if there is success. This point I feel should have been immediately apparent to me, but the input in this thread had helped me realise this. Apple Records which I grew up on (the Beatles) ended up in Court against Apple Inc. I know this is a digression but how one can own the shape of a natuarally occuring fruit and its name is an enigma to me. It becomes a case of interpretation for those that are manipulators of words.

This concomitance with writing software is deeply disconcerting!
