So what is a good conference to goto, now that PDC has been delayed? I imagine its too late to book teched, plus we're already sending a bunch there... Maybe the November devconn?

Really? A co-worker of mine went to the Orlando VSLive and described is at "a worthless waste of time and money."
Actually, PDC being delayed helps me. It was going to be a fight-and-a-half getting it approved this fiscal year since I went to Tech Ed last year. If it happens next year I should be able to get it approved quite easily. -

I went to the one in San Fran a while back and can somewhat agree however the fact that it is in Vegas would make it worthwhile.

I have mentioned this here before:
TechEd Barcelona
C spoke well of the TechEd conferences, and I am thinking of going to Barcelona in November. -

Not for me. I'm from there, so I've pretty much done everything there AT LEAST twice.
Besides, my parents live there so I could very well go ropped into having to go home and do chores while I was there! :O -
devscovery looks to have some more advanced topics that may make it pretty good, while devconnections has more breadth.
I'm undecided between more advanced programming and more broader-topics (architecture, etc)...which by itself maybe more of a vote for devconnections.
devscovery looks good agenda-wise, but how good are the sessions if they are all short?

I be in a forest shooting mammals instead...

I went to my first Tech Ed in Barcelona last year (TechEd Developers) and it was a great week. I'm hoping I get the opportunity to go this year, fingers crossed. Plus this year both the developers and it forum is a full five day conference, no longer 1 day pre conference and 4 day main conference. Well worth attending I felt, I learned so much in that week.
