Please, anybody who've got iPhone yesterday share your thoughts and opinions.
Is it true what it's impossible to set song as ringtone or use selfmade ringones? ![]()

There are plenty of adjectives I'd use to describe someone who buys a $600 cell phone, but "lucky" isn't one of them.

I don't know about the ringtones, but it sounds like it's almost impossible to activate the thing. I saw one report that said some devices are even being bricked.
I am enjoying the faster EDGE speeds, though I can't wait until I can get my hands on an HTC Kaiser. -

Well if you look at all the reviews, then it certainly appears to be.
I can't see why anyone would be surprised though. The record companies and artists expect royalties through ringtone sales, so there is money to be made by not allowing you to create your own or use existing tracks.
Have no fear, the iTunes store will soon be selling them to you ...

That's pretty much how much a SIM-less HTC Touch costs. Don't worry, I didn't spend my money on it.

I waited in line three hours before they went on sale. It then took about fifteen minutes for those ahead of me to get their phones. I got the 8GB model. Buying was painless; I just told them which one I wanted, they did a short credit check, and then I was out of there with my new iPhone. Activation over iTunes took all of about five minutes. As for whether or not I actually like the thing: it wasn't until 2AM that I was able to convince myself to put it down. Finally, on typing speed: it took me about ten minutes to write this with my iPhone.

Hopefully, most of the current iPhone problems are just a "1.0" problems:
