Now that Vista SP1 beta1 is about to be released, what may be its size? Any guesses ? Will it be more than 700MB or less than it ?

1mb but 2 days to install

Smaller than a breadbox.

sqrt(-1)
In truth, I have no idea. But given MS's recent history with service packs, I have no doubt it'll be big and take long to install.

Hehe. Reminds me of the sign we had above the lightswitch on the conference room before someone removed it:
"Help save electricity; turn me off when not in use - I use 5 kilowatts an hour."
I was amused that the light actually accellerated it's energy consumption... hehe.

12 parsecs

400 liters and must be poured into the case!

12. Imperial, not metric. Metric would be ridiculous.

My bet is 4Gb, available only as a VPC image.

Or half day if your update source is local WSUS server of your company.

Lol. That would be funny if we had to use over 1000 floppy disks just to save a gig.

1.44*1024=1474.56
1474.56>1024 therefore we don't.

Nobody said these were 3.5" HD disks.
It would take 2913 double-density 5.25" disks (360KB each) to store a gig.
