I've got an aspx file, same exact javascript, same exact markup (fc told me so
)...yet IE runs a little slower... Is there any tool that you guys know of that will let me peer a little deeper into the performance of these two browsers?

See http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2007/06/22/from-microsoft-teched-2007-web-development-tools-for-internet-explorer.aspx for a good roundup of tools for IE although profilers are lacking.
There are also good posts on JScript Perf at http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/08/28/728654.aspx and http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/11/16/ie-javascript-performance-recommendations-part-2-javascript-code-inefficiencies.aspx and http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2007/01/04/ie-jscript-performance-recommendations-part-3-javascript-code-inefficiencies.aspx which you may find useful.

'lo Dave, welcome back. What's happened since you've been gone? (I've popped onto your Spaces blog a few times).

'lo Dave, welcome back. What's happened since you've been gone? (I've popped onto your Spaces blog a few times).
Hi there. I've been busy with family and have thoroughly enjoyed myself for the past few months. Now it's time to get back to work of some sort though as I have to pay the bills somehow.
I'm going to be blogging at www.DMassy.com with a few thoughts about browsers in general and IE in particular.
Cheers

IE in particular
Yay, even though you're not on the team your site will probably be more 'transparent' than the IE blog(s).

I'm not sure I see myself at Opera. The guys there that I've met have seemed pretty decent though.

I just noticed you're no-longer on my Messenger address list. When I tried to add you back it said your address no-longer existed.
Intrieging! (Well since your Messenger address was tied to your User at Microsoft, and that being deleted meant it bubbled through federated SIP providers, I guess)
Do you have a replacement address I canannoytalk to you at?

The old DMassy@microsoft.com account is dead now
. DMassy'AT'hotmail.com should get me on IM and for personal email now.
DMassy@DMassy.com for work related email.
Thanks
