They arrived today....
And began taking over the world... one PC at a time...
They're staring at me, with their evil grins... silently plotting evil schemes....

Nice!
I'm envious of your eboy poster, too... my wall's boring... just two Escher prints (Waterfall and Print Gallery) and a pirates poster.
I need to get a nine guy... C9 team: would you prefer that I send in a postcard or would email work?
I'm in the US, so I'll let John save his 9 guys for people outside of the US. -
I got my Channel 9 Guy from Mr Askew also. Nice image W3bbo! (I have one in the "Photos" section).

I don't like how my metre-tall blue computer case dwarfs my monitors.
I got some high-end 5ms TFT displays for a PC I was building for a friend, they're still no match for my CRTs when it comes to colour accuracy or ghosting. They're definately improving when it comes to color though (but not those "16.2" displays, when buying a TFT screen, make sure it's "16.7" and not "16.2" or "16.7 Dithered"

Wow I thought that was some SGI machine at first.

Thanks John! Thanks again for my cool nine guy
He's having much fun here. -

what about the new dells/hp monitors (Dell 3007WFP-HC, HP LP3065 ) with 92% color gamut?

The only thing remotely interesting in that photo is my pair of LCD 3D stereoscopic glasses on top of my case (the silver thing under it is a Microsoft-branded CD case I got at DDD). They only really work well with 120Hz CRT displays, hence another reason why I don't want a TFT.
The case is just a blue Chieftec Dragon Full Tower.

Boring marketing hype. None of the actual LCD panel MFGs (like AUO) have announced any new improvements in colour reproduction, all the other companies (like Dell, HP, NEC, etc) just package their panels in their own case designs.

I was going to go for the same case as you have, but I settled for something that wasn't so large.
I now have two Dell 20" Widescreens, but as long as I can read things and images are good, the extra space I get with TFT outweighs the benefits of the CRTs for me.

I call for recipients of 9Guys from John to post photos of their awesomeness.
C'mon... we've all got cameras lying around (even if it is a 640x480 webcam).

That probably is the largest case I've ever seen... I suppose a large case makes it a lot easier to get the computer together, though (I hate working in the small Dell cases, especially the small Optiplex workstations they used to make) and helps with ventilation and space.
I need to get me one of those TFT screens, so I can do dual-monitor with my laptop (the CRT I have is too large for my desk and hurts my eyes anyways as it won't go above 60Hz in dual-monitor mode).
But, uhhh, anyways...
Nine guys FTW!

I plan to - just a matter of time. -

I will get an image of my Channel 9 guy for this thread with my new computer.
(Later today [I do not have access to a webcam I believe]).
